Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders as you enhance FCC’s presence in the ag lending market and create opportunities for business development.

What you’ll do:

  • Create, plan and execute strategies that employ industry events to support our relationship management process
  • Lead in planning and communication of the industry events and sponsorship, working with colleagues across Canada to execute events
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with industry stakeholders
  • Negotiate sponsorships or partner agreements with industry contacts, including financial, recognition and visibility benefits to participation

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong communicator and team player who builds relationships
  • Independent thinker able to capitalize on promotional and marketing opportunities
  • Experienced event planner, ideally with an understanding of agriculture, farm business management or the finance industry
  • Proven multi-tasker who can manage multiple tactics, budgets and calendars

What you’ll need:

  • A degree in marketing, agriculture or business administration and at least five years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience); knowledge of FCC financing and services is an asset
  • Marketing experience and a passion for agriculture
  • Capacity for travel (up to 25 overnights per year)
  • Fluency in both official languages is an asset
