MN–S issues a Call to Participate on the Saskatchewan Homelessness Advisory Board

March 31, 2025 – As the Community Entity (CE) for the Reaching Home Non-Designated Indigenous Homelessness and the Reaching Home Non-Designated Rural and Remote Homelessness Funding Streams, Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) is issuing a Call to Participate on the Saskatchewan Homelessness Advisory Board (SHAB).

If you have experience with homelessness programs or are interested in those issues, the Advisory Board is seeking applicants from the following demographics: one position- Youth (18 – 30 years old), one position – Métis, one position – First Nations and one position – Rural or Remote.

As a member of the Board, you will be required to engage local stakeholders to implement homelessness projects and programs in both remote and rural Saskatchewan. You would be required to develop terms of reference related to policies and procedures, determine Reaching Home funding priorities based on community needs and recommend applications accordingly.

Selected Board members must be willing to commit to a term of three years. A detailed Call to Participate is here.
