The Carry the Kettle First Nation member is one of the Indigenous land users concerned that a new Saskatchewan trespassing law, which came into force on Jan. 1, prevents them from reaching medicines and traditional foods.
She worries that the combination of Crown land sales and tighter trespassing laws will make the situation worse, on top of the drought that is limiting supplies.
