Our people see land in a much different way because of our long history within this territory.

As an increasing number of farmers across rural Saskatchewan looked to sell their farms over the last three decades, sometimes it was the neighbouring First Nations who allowed them to retire with dignity.

The 1992 Treaty Land Entitlement Framework Agreement gave Saskatchewan First Nations money to purchase land, and much farmland was purchased, sometimes from multi-generational farmers.
