Alliance Pipeline was recognized on Thursday at the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw Campus for investing $200,000 into the school’s Indigenous Student Success Strategy.

Alliance, which is a joint venture between Enbridge Inc. and Pembina Pipeline Corp., began investing in the program in 2020. Due to the pandemic, it wasn’t until now that Sask. Polytech was able to formally recognize the gift with an in-person event.

The funds have gone towards sharing the story of 24 students from the past two years as part of an Indigenous role model calendar. The investment has also helped support events at Sask Polytech’s four Indigenous Students’ Centres and build relationships between students and Indigenous advisors.
