Join us in celebrating the successes and contributions of Métis, First Nations and Inuit students, staff and faculty. Indigenous Achievement Week (IAW) focuses on achievements in academics, research, education, community engagement and leadership. This year’s theme is Powerful Voices.

IAW begins with a pipe ceremony and feast Monday, February 4 and ends with Métis jigging and fiddle music and a Round Dance Friday, February 8. Throughout the week there will also be various events hosted by USask Colleges.

One of the highlights of the week is always the Indigenous Student Achievement Awards Ceremony. Indigenous students will be honoured for their academic, leadership and community outreach accomplishments. The awards ceremony will take place Thursday, February 7 in the Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student Centre.
