Slot players descend on Dakota Dunes Casino for annual Slot Showdown Tournament
February 15, 2017
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – $50,000 in cash and prizes is ready to be won at the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA)’s annual Slot Showdown Tournament on February 18, 2017. Qualifying players from all six SIGA casinos will spin to win a top prize of $20,000.
“Players are enthusiastically waiting for the competition after the qualifier tournaments held at all six SIGA Casinos,” says Vance McNab, SIGA’s Vice President of Marketing. “Last year’s winner of the $20,000 top prize, qualifying from Bear Claw Casino, will be back this year to vie for her title.”
This year’s tournament will have the final 30 players playing on the new Spin Ferno® interactive spinning reel tournament system. These new machines heighten the excitement of the gaming experience with new technology, enhanced graphics, video, themes, and sound.
Patrons qualified for this year’s Slot Showdown in Saskatoon by participating in qualifier tournaments at each of SIGA’s casinos and a wild card draw through email.
The Slot Showdown tournament takes place at Dakota Dunes Casino starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017. The public is welcome to come and view the competition.
